WORN HISTORY
WORN REVOLUTION is a women's vintage inspired collection line that is constructed from 100% recycled clothing. WORN's style is considered a new wave of contemporary street wear infused with eras of vintage designs. Based out of Brooklyn, New York, WORN presents its collection in a diverse series that marries political times and Brooklyn's gritty street style.
When founder Melissa Carter chose to push the envelope on street fashion she relied on vintage clothing to gain understanding of exceptional design. Having a profound respect for all things old, she gave birth to her line WORN REVOLUTION. WORN meaning all fabric and trims have been used or worn and "REVOLUTION" because each piece has been transformed to generate current appeal.
Most pieces that WORN REVOLUTION creates is entirely custom, which allows her client to have an opinion of how they want each piece to reflect them. Although similar, no style is repeated. With glamor always in mind each salvaged garment is recreated to generate a new life- clothing reincarnation at it's finest.
